The Edge Art Gallery and Glassblowing Studio is located on Highway 101 just half a mile south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport Or. It currently exhibits 26 different artists 13 of whom are local. The artwork is very diverse in style and media ranging from hand blown and fused glass to oil pastel and acrylic painting to ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts and various forms of sculpture. There is a glass blowing studio right in the gallery space so visitors can watch this beautiful and ancient art in action. Visitors can also take individual classes to design and blow their own glass float. Check out the video pages, glass blowing classes, to get a feel for the experience of ''getting hot at the edge!''
